Taking pictures is the way that I experience the world. It allows me to meet interesting people, and to see things I might not get to otherwise.
My easygoing nature allows me to get along with people from all walks of life.
I grew up in Southern California, but moved to Seattle years ago to work at The Seattle Times as a photojournalist. Working there gave me a strong documentary base. I now also count portraits as a strength of my work.
I live in Seattle with my wife. And enjoy exploring The West, biking, good food, red wine, and grilling up a rib-eye in our backyard that we share with Muffin, a Bichon- Chinese Crested dog, and a large Redwood Sequoia tree.
