About

I am a Seattle-based photographer specializing in portraiture, documentary and corporate photography.
Previously I was a staff photographer at The Seattle Times.
Over 20 of my photographs are featured in the book The New Intifada, a book published in 2001 that chronicles the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.
I live happily in a green house with my lovely wife, like to barbecue and enjoy roadtrips. I was also once interviewed by female Iranian journalism students in the Khomeini Shrine in south Tehran (see picture).
My work has been recognized by numerous national and regional organizations including The Society of Professional Journalists, The Atlanta Photojournalism Seminar, The National Press Photographers Association, The Society of American Travel Writers Foundation, The Eddie Adams Workshop, the California Press Photographers Association and the Associated Press.
